Getting Familiar

Monty is now in China, he arrived on Monday, July 14th. There is a 15 hour difference(them ahead of us), so when we talk we are often on different days of the week. Monty is hoping to be able to come on here and put up some pictures and say "Hi!" to everyone, although his access to the internet is very limited. Feel free to leave comments and he will surely read them when he gets a chance.

Now for the good stuff... Monty is absolutly loving China!!! He gets up for breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and then works until 5:00 p.m. After 5:00 he has free time. Him and his roomate Bob go around seeing sites and trying to talk to the locals. He says that the locals stare, point and laugh, they even got flipped off by a little kid. Him and Bob are great roomies and have the same sense of humor. In common Gilmore/Stevens fashion Monty is constantly talking about all of the food. Next to their hotel they have a KFC, and he also noticed a Starbucks. Here are some pictures of what i can imagine:

Yesterday, Monty and Bob walked through a meat market, neither on of them is sure what kind of meat it was but I think they may never eat meat again. Monty said the smell was horrendous. Although he later decided to try lizard, lizard soup, and chicken (with the head still attatched of coarse).
